Meetings and socials - keeping yourself in touch

22nd SEPTEMBER 12 noon til 1.30pm Monthly volunteer meeting - updates, coffee, social and inductions

Come along to the monthly volunteers meeting and get a decent update from Harris management or their representatives about the organisation and it's current project #HarrisYourPlace which will be affecting the closure of the building from October 2nd. Although closing, business is still going to be as usual, with your help of course. 

Format for the meetings will be:

20 mins: Update from Harris management

45 mins: Social (the important bit!) with tea, coffee, cake and a quiz (all optional)

15 mins: Inductions for new volunteers 

This meeting will happen on the ground floor of the Harris in the cafe area. Following monthly meetings may take place at the Pavillion in Avenham park (watch this space for more info coming out).

Hearing about the #HarrisYourPlace project developments of which you are a key part of

Having a brew and eating cake

Geting a whilstle stop induction/completing any paperwork that needs completing/familiarising yourself with the Harris if you are new

Making new friends if that is what you would like to do 




Why get involved?

It will do you good and you will get to know the Harris a bit better if you don't already.  

As you will have signed yourself up online as a volunteer, this will help you to feel that the experience is real!

You will get chance (hopefully) to meet existing volunteers and have a chat with them. 

You will get to make new friends if that is what you would like to do. 

You will get to meet Harris staff and find out more about things.

You might have questions you would like answering
