Bedtime reading - the Harris' Volunteer Handbook 2024

It is important to us that you feel connected to us and supported.

Obviously support isnt just on a page but it is a good place to start. This little 25 page booklet has been made for you so that you can find out a bit more about the Harris, its staff and its collections.

You can use this link here to take you directly to the handbook:

/userfiles/files/The%20Harris%20Volunteer%20Handbook%202024.pdf

On page 15 you can find another link you should be able to click directly on and see the Harris' new Volunteer Strategy, along with information on the Harris' vision - which some of you will have helped formulate.

On pages 18-21 you will find practical information about things you need to know about like induction, training, expenses and how we will support you should you have any issues whilst volunteering with us.

If you would like an actual copy of the handbook rather than an electronic one then please just let us know as we have them here in the office. Once you have read the handbook, please log into your account on here and click that you have completed the "challenge". Feedback always welcome so if you think there is something missing or needs changing, please let us know.
