An hour or two

Egg rolling workshop helper - Mon 21st April 10.30 - 1.30

We are looking for volunteers who can be event stewards at our popular Egg Rolling event in Avenham and Miller parks in Preston.

What's involved?

You will be acting as a steward – helping to control numbers of people learning some tricks with ‘Circus Sensible’ or guiding the fantastic ‘Ski Band’ as they walkabout around the parks playing some catchy tunes.  You’ll be handing out leaflets and surveys, and generally improving the visitor experience.

This is an outdoor event and staff and volunteers need to be prepared for all weathers.

Why get involved?

Egg Rolling is a Preston tradition, in recent years it has become one of the most popular events in the city’s calendar.  You’ll be helping to make sure the day runs smoothly for artists and visitors.

You will practice your customer service skills

You will experience performances and workshops

Hopefully you will have a fantastic day!
