Preston Pride returns for 2024 on the Preston Flag Market. We need 2 volunteers for Preston Pride-who will be helping out on The Harris stall giving out flyers and assisting with an art activity.
Date- Saturday 28 September 2024
You will be needed from 10:30am-3pm.
What's involved?
We need 2 volunteers for Preston Pride-who will be helping out on The Harris stall giving out flyers and assisting with an art activity. Activity: Work with the Preston Pride attendees to create a bespoke Harris tote bags, decorating with fabric pens for those who are feeling creative and artistic or stamps and ink. Evaluation after each activity will need to be completed which helps towards our future funding requirements. Other jobs could include handing out Harris Pride badges and stickers to people who come and browse The Harris stall, handing out Harris Your Place project flyers and recruiting members for The Harris LGBTQIA+ working group.
You will get:
- £5 lunch cover
- Break in The Harris office - 20 minutes lunch and additional breaks throughout if needed in The Office if you need a drink of water or to use the restroom.
