Things to do to feel good

Be part of Khaled's Creative team! Collage and Mummification workshop! Monday 25th November

Egyptian Artist Khaled Hafez Khaled Hafez – Visual Artist who some of you might have virtually met already at one of our volunteer meetings, will be working with the Harris for a whole week from Saturday 23rd November.

For those of you that dont know, he is the artist that the Harris has selected for the Imperial War Museum partnership project IWM 14-18 NOW Legacy Fund Artist | The Harris

As promised, Khaled wants you to be involved in the work he creates for the commission for the Harris and he wants you to be part of his Creative Team.

We (Harris volunteers) have got him for the whole day on Monday 25th November from 10.30am until 3pm at the Museum of Lancashire and he is going to be exploring with us, the Harris' Egyptian objects that will be going on display when we reopen. We will then be doing a collage workshop with a bit of mummification!

The day will be very good fun and our friend and filmmaker Roland Turner will be capturing footage from the day to create a short film for us that will in the end, be a welcome to new volunteers.

Lunch and hot drinks provided, all you need to bring is the atmosphere!
