Volunteer Meetings and social things!

Thank you for your interest in the challenge. We've already filled all our volunteer spaces for this challenge but please take a look at our other challenges.

Tour of the Harris followed by our Volunteer Meeting Saturday 22nd February, 11am until 1pm

Come along to our Harris volunteers meeting and catch up which happens every other month on Saturday mornings.

We are back at our favourite cafe, Brew and Bake, which is just at the back of Preston Market, underneath Bishopsgate Gardens apartments (see pic).

This meeting will be extra-ordinary in that it will start with a tour of the Harris! Led by our main man James Arnold - Programmes and Collections Manager/previously our History Curator. Meet outside the Guild Hall in Preston at 10.45am ready for the tour at 11am. Followed by a nice brew and cake at Brew and Bake cafe. You will get chance at the cafe to give us your updates of what you have all been doing. Should be a lovely morning! You will absolutely love being in the Harris and seeing it as it is now.

The regular meetings help you to feel like you are part of the volunteer team - especially since the Harris building has been closed for 3 years.
