It is everyones favourite annual exhibition! Returning after a 4 year break! It could be a biggie!
We are looking for a team of 6 people to help us out. Starting next week on the Tuesday 3rd Feb - sorry about the short notice.
We hope that you might help us in the first place with the public hand in of artworks and in the last place the take down and handing back of all artwork not sold - and possibly a few things in between! We think we have got the hanging of the exhibition covered but there might be other jobs like helping with the numbering of the artworks for the catalogue; painting the mirror plates on all the works on the wall so it all looks seemless etc etc.
Hand in dates we need help with are:
Tuesday 3rd Feb 1pm til 4pm
Thursday 5th Feb 5pm til 9pm
Saturday 7th Feb 10am til 4pm
Times to suit you.
The exhibition opens on Saturday 21st so we have a 2 week period to get it all ready.
We can discuss the taking down of the artwork and handing back to the exhibitors as we go along but this will happen in early May.
What's involved?
Working with the public
Taking their art work in and checking their entry forms are all filled in correctly
Answering their questions
Being kind and patient with the exhibitors!
Helping with jobs that pop up in the installation of the exhibition
Helping with the taking down of the exhibition in May
Why get involved?
It will be interesting!
You will meet a lot of artists!
This is a major exhibition for the local community and you will be part of it
It will be really busy so you will be helping the Harris team out
You will enjoy yourself and possibly get inspired!
How to get involved?
Accept the challenge and get ready for action!
