Thank you for your interest in the challenge. We've already filled all our volunteer spaces for this challenge but please take a look at our other challenges.

Poster dropper needed in Larches/Ashton

No specific time: any time between Saturday 12th October and Tuesday 22nd October

Millie is looking for a volunteer who is local to the Larches/Ashton area and is up for having a walk around their area putting up 20 posters! The posters are advertising the Harris and UCLan's new children's activity afternoon during the October half term at The Hub at St Bernards. Please see the poster below.

We'd like these posters up and around different shops and community venues - anywhere where people will see them - over the next week or so please. You can choose whether you'd like to drop the posters all in one day, or bit by bit throughout the next week before Tuesday 22nd October.

What's involved?

  • Drop off 20 posters around the Larches/Ashton area.

  • Ideally putting these posters up in places where families/parents/children might visit! e.g. nurseries, doctors, schools, post offices.

  • Pick up the set of posters from Preston Guild Hall Library, available from Saturday 12th October.

Why get involved?

  • Help the Harris promote their upcoming children's activities.

  • Engage and have a chat with your local community.

  • Get involved with a low-pressure challenge you could do throughout the week at your leisure!

How to get involved?

1. Accept the challenge

2. Await your confirmation email

3. Email Millie a.welbourne@preston.gov.uk to confirm whether you can pick up the posters or would like them sending to you via post.

4. Once you've completed the poster drop around Larches, email Millie with the time you spent volunteering.
