Volunteer Makers Training

Do you struggle to navigate your way around our volunteering portal 'Volunteer Makers'? Join this laidback, one-to-one training and learn more about how to accept challenges, log your hours, and edit your skills/interests.

Date: Monday 20th May

Time: 11am-12pm

What's involved?

This training will be an hour-long, informal session with Millie (Communities Assistant) using the computers in the Guild Hall IT Centre.

We'll cover the basics of Volunteer Makers and you can ask any questions you have about the website. The session will be tailored to your needs. 

Why get involved?

  • Use this as an opportunity to ask any questions you have about Volunteer Makers in a judgement-free environment.

  • Become more confident with accepting challenges.

  • Learn how to log your precious volunteering hours.

  • Get the most out of your Harris volunteering experience!!

How to get involved?

1. Accept this challenge! OR email a.welbourne@preston.gov.uk if you're not sure how to accept!

2. Bring along your Volunteer Makers log-in details. (don't worry if you don't have these)

3. Meet Millie and one other volunteer at the IT Centre in Preston Guild Hall
